Violet Voss X Nicol Concilio Eyeshadow Palette Description/Review

The Violet Voss X Nicol Concilio Palette is a limited edition powder eyeshadow palette that contains 20 shades in matte, satin, duochrome and shimmery/metallic finishes. Each shade contains 1.8 grams (0.063 ounces) of product, giving the palette a total of 36 grams (1.26 ounces) of product. The palette has a shelf life of 18 months and is made in China.

The formula is the same as the other Violet Voss shadows, which is good. They are pigmented, blend out easily and are a dream to work with. The formula isn’t anything special and is the basic type of eyeshadow formula that a lot of brands use, but it works perfectly and I like it a LOT. All of the shades are formulated amazingly and NO shade out of the 20 gave me ANY trouble at all.

As always, Violet Voss infuse their eyeshadow formula with Jojoba Oil, which is an essential oil that has many benefits for the skin, but in eyeshadow formula’s it really doesn’t do much at all except help the eyeshadows spread easier.

The shade selection in this palette is RIGHT up my alley!! I don’t like doing crazy eyeshadow looks, so I will get use out of so many of the shades in this palette. My favourite shades (even though I LOVE them all), are the .bright blue metallic shade and the first duochrome white and purple shade. The blue shade just draws my eyes in and it is SO pigmented. It applies so brightly to the eye WITHOUT needing any spray fix plus or water. The duochrome shade has purple reflects and goes over the blue shade so nicely, and also looks nice in the inner corner.

All in all, I am absolutely IN-LOVE with this palette. The photos don’t even do it justice, and I deffo wasn’t expecting it to be so beautiful and to love it so much. The shade selection is MY type of theme and I will get use out of all the shades. I think there is just the right amount of mattes, satins and metallic’s to be able to create SOOOOO many looks and you could use this daily for a go-to palette. I just love this palette so much!!!

If you live in Australia or Internationally, DO NOT get the palette from Violet Voss Online unless you want to pay ridiculous shipping prices. I went to get the palette of Violet Voss Online, and shipping to Australia ALONE was $40.00 AUD (not including the price of the palette may I add), which is an absolute joke. I am glad Cult Beauty got the palette because if not, I wouldn’t of got it. That high of a shipping price is a joke.
