Nars Cosmetics recently released a new limited edition cheek palette called the Unfiltered 2 Palette and today I am going to be talking about and fully swatching it.
Nars Unfiltered 2 Cheek Palette Description/Review
The Nars Cosmetics Limited Edition Unfiltered 2 Cheek Palette comes with 6 different blush and illuminating shades in matte and shimmery finishes. Each shade contains 3.5 grams (0.12 ounces) of product, giving the palette a total of 21 grams (0.72 ounces) of product. The blushes are made in Canada and have a shelf life of 24 months.
Physically, the formula is extremely pigmented and blends out nicely. I had no problem with any of the shades and all of them work really well and have a nice consistency. I generally really like Nars Blushes, they are always pigmented and nice and buttery. I really wasn’t expecting this palette to be so good because I could’t find many swatches on it, but I absolutely love it!!
Chemically, the formula is very similar to most blushes, blushes don’t generally have any “innovative” or unique formula’s, which isn’t a bad thing.
I absolutely love the packaging. It has like a pink sheen to it and it’s absolutely beautiful. You also get a cool overlay thing that say’s ‘are you a narcissist’, this can be taken off and put back on of course, it’s just a sheet. All in all, I really like this palette and it makes me want to try more Nars blush palettes. I do think the price is a tiny bit extreme for a blush palette considering that you can buy a high quality , pigmented and fully functioning blush palette from Makeup Revolution for $10.00 AUD , but this palette is priced at around the point all palettes by Nars are, so that’s just what you have to pay for Nars ( it is a high end brand).
