Hourglass Cosmetics recently released a new face palette called the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Surreal Light Palette, and today, I am going to be talking about and fully swatching it, along with providing more photos of the palette and where to buy links.

Description/Review of Hourglass Surreal Lighting Palette

The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Surreal Light Palette is a limited edition face palette that comes with 5 different shades; 1 finishing powder, 2 blushes, 1 bronzer and a strobe lighting powder. The finishing powder is bigger than the other 4 shades and contains 4 grams (0.14 ounces) of product and the other 4 shades contain 1.4 grams (0.04 ounces) of product. The palette has a shelf life of 12 months and is made in Italy. 

The packaging is absolutely beautiful and the palette is fully marble. I have to say, the packaging is soooo amazing and I absolutely love the white marble. The formula is nice, soft and buttery and the shades are pigmented. The formula just slides on and is high quality, which I would expect for the price. If you want this palette, get it while stocks last because it is limited edition and will go quite quick.

Shade 1- Surreal Light

Surreal Light is a yellow toned finishing powder. You can apply this shade all over the face at the end of your makeup routine to set your face.

Shade 2- Surreal Glow 

Surreal Glow is a muted coral toned blush shade. This shade can be applied to the cheeks to give you a pop of colour.

Shade 3- Surreal Effect

Surreal Effect is a bright pink blush shade. This shade can also be applied to the cheeks to give you a pop of colour.

Shade 4- Surreal Bronze Light

Surreal Bronze Light is a light brown orange bronze shade. It can be applied to the hallows of the cheeks, temples and jawline to give you a defined look.

Shade 5- Surreal Strobe Light

Surreal Strobe Light is a light yellow highlighter shade. It can be applied to the high points of the face- tops of cheeks, bridge of the nose, brow bone and cupids bow to give a beautiful highlighting effect. If you want this shade to be more bold, you can use it wet which will make it go heaps brighter.
