Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Palette in Blackmail Description/Review

The Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Palette in Blackmail contains 12 different Urban Decay Vice Lipstick shades in palette form. Just like the Vice Lipsticks in lipstick form, the shades come in multiple finishes including sheer, cream, matte, mega matte and metallic (shade description and swatches below).

Each lipstick contains 0.7 grams of product, giving the palette a total net weight of 8.4 grams of product. The palette has a 24 month shelf life and is made in the USA.The lipstick shades in the palette are the exact same as the stick lipstick’s, except they are slightly less pigmented and just need a bit more product to fill in the whole lip.

The reason this palette appealed to me is because your getting 12 really popular Vice Lipstick shades in one palette. The popular Vice lipstick shades can be so hard to get here in Australia because they sell out super quickly and don’t restock that often, so I was happy when I seen that this palette has so many popular shades that I could purchase in one go. Also, even though the shades in the palette contain less product than a full Vice Lipstick, you are getting 12 lipstick shades for wayyyy less than 12 full Vice Lipstick shades would cost you.

Lipstick Form vs Palette Comparison

As you can see in the swatch below, there is hardly any difference in the lipstick in normal form and in the palette form. The bottom swatch is slightly more blended than the top swatch because the normal lipsticks disperse more product in one go than the palette shades. Still, the formula is pretty much identical
