Items in the Fun and Flirty Set (x5)

There are two full sized eye products and two full sized lip products in the Fun and Flirty Box, along with a makeup bag.

MAC Eyeshadow in The Wrong Man

The MAC Eyeshadow in The Wrong Man is a pale pink shadow with a Satin finish. I have to say, this shadow is horrible in regards to pigmentation. The only use I could see for it is as a base /prep shade to sweep over the lids and crease area prior to applying eyeshadow to get everything ready. The eyeshadow contains 1.5 grams (0.5 ounces) of product.

I could hardly even get a arm swatch of this because it’s so sheer. I literally dug into the product with still no success, so I eventually gave up. Moral of the story is, it is extremely sheer and non-pigmented.

MAC Haute and Naughty Mascara in Black

The MAC Haute and Naughty Mascara is a mascara by MAC that has two different handles. One has a more narrow and thinner entrance, and one has a wider, thicker entrance, which allows you to really get your lashes coated with the smaller bit, and then give them an extra top up with the thicker bit (you’ll get what I mean when you look at the photos of the mascara below).

The packaging of this mascara is soooo pretty, one top has a purple handle and the other has a pink one which is so unique. I really like this mascara, it is one of my go to mascara’s.

The Haute and Naughty Mascara contains 9 grams (0.33 fluid ounces) of product and is made in Canada.

MAC Creamsheen Lipstick in Cherry Blossom Girl

The MAC Lipstick in Cherry Blossom Girl is a pale pink shade with a Amplified finish. Amplified finishes are very creamy and pigment, but just note they are not matte. Cherry Blossom Girl contains 3 grams (0.1 US ounces) of product and is made in Canada.

I absolutely love this shade. I wasn’t expecting to really like it but it’s such a beautiful pink shade and it looks really good on.

MAC Lipglass in Hot Pepper

The MAC Lipglass in Hot Pepper is a light pink glossy shade. It contains 4.8 ml (0.16 ounces) of product and is made in Canada.

I really like this shade too, it is a beautiful light pink that looks good by itself and over the top of Cherry Blossom Girl.

Swatch Comparisons of Lip Products

MAC Cosmetics Makeup Bag

A cute little makeup bag comes with the box set. It is a nice black colour and a pink zip. It has the MAC logo on the front. The bag is made in China, and is the only item in the collection made there.

I really love this bag, it’s so pretty and I love how it has the MAC logo on it.

Overall Thoughts/Summary

I really like the Fun and Flirty Box Set and I think it’s worth it. When I went to MAC, I was already going to buy a mascara so I thought I would get the box and also get a few extra items. I don’t really like going to shops and just getting one item (shipping costs, etc), so this really drew me in.

As I said at the beginning, if you were to buy all these items separately it would cost more than it costs to buy the box and you save $51.00 AUD ($38.70 USD).

I like both the lipstick and lipgloss included in the set, and even though the shadow has horrible pigmentation, I can use it as a prep/base for eyeshadow so I’m not too upset about that. All of the items are full sized, so that’s a massive bonus to me because I’m not too much of a fan of mini items. The mascara included is one of my go to mascaras by MAC so I knew that was going to be good.

All in all, I love this box and I do not regret getting it. It’s just a matter of if you will actually use all of the items in the box! I wish MAC had more box sets like this, but the rest of the Look in a Box sets are not as good as this.
