MAC Cosmetics Loose Pigments + MAC Glitter Review & Swatches in Silver Fog, Kitschmas, Rich Purple,
Heyyyyy Beautiessssss
MAC Cosmetics have a range of Glitters and Pigments and today I am going to be talking about and swatching some of the shades in the range!
MAC Pigment + MAC Glitter Description/Review
📷
The MAC Cosmetics Pigments are loose powder eyeshadows that come in multiple shades. Each shade contains 4.5 grams (0.15 ounces) of product and is made in the USA.
The formula of the MAC Pigments is like any loose powder eyeshadow. They are extremely pigmented and work amazingly, but there is NO getting around how damn messy they are. I tend to avoid loose pigments because of how hard they are to keep neat and not get everywhere, but if you want a intense POP of colour, they are really good for that. Alone these are SO PIGMENTED, but when you wet you’re brush or apply a bit of Spray Fix Plus, they are even more intense!
The MAC Cosmetics Glitters are cosmetic grade glitters that can be used for multiple things. Each glitter contains 4.5 grams (0.15 ounces) of product and is made in the USA.

The formula of the MAC Glitters is also like any other cosmetic glitter. It can be used for multiple thing’s on the face and body, and also mixed with other items to get whatever desired effect you want. Technically, they are not ‘eye’ safe but that is what basically every company that sells glitter says. I do use them on the eye area, but just be careful when you do. Obviously when you apply ANY glitter to the eye you are going to have to use some type of glue, I like the Lit Cosmetics glue for this!

All in all, I really like the MAC Glitters and MAC Pigments. I don’t use glitter much anymore but when I do, I reach for these. The pigments have such a high colour pay-off and when I am feeling patient, I will use them. My problem is they are just SO DAMN MESSY and it annoys me. I would rather dig into a pressed shadow to get pigment than mess up my outfit by getting loose pigment on it, lol!! They do come in beautiful shades though and are a really good product, especially for makeup artists or people who do creative stuff. I also think the packaging is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and draws me in. I love how you can see through it to what colour it is and that the black MAC logo is on the front.
The MAC Pigments cost $39.00 AUD – $22.00 USD each and the MAC Glitters cost $29.00 AUD – $22.00 USD each. Each can be purchased from MAC Cosmetics Online and In-Store, + at MAC retailers
