Kylie Cosmetics released a holiday 2016 collection and today, I am going to be going over the Holiday Bundle in Merry.

Kylie Cosmetics Cream Eyeshadow in Yellow Gold

The Kylie Cosmetics Cream Shadow in Yellow Gold is a highly pigmented cream shadow that contains 5 grams (0.18 ounces) of product. This product is high quality and glides on so easily. It is just like a typical cream shadow and it isn’t better or worse than ones by other brands, but I really like the shade.

Holiday 2016 Edition Lip Kit in ‘Merry’

The Merry Lip Kit is a limited edition holiday shade that comes with a matte liquid lipstick and a lip pencil in the same shade. It is a nice bold, typical red colour. I will say, the mattes in this collection were very dry and streaky and this shade is no exception. I really do like this shade but I don’t know if I will wear it much just because it’s so hard to work wit and streaky and that’s a shame because it is a nice red shade.

The Merry Lip Kit comes with 3.25 ml (0.11) ounces of product, which is full size.

Holiday 2016 Edition Metallic Liquid Lipstick in Dancer

The Dancer Metallic Matte is a red type shade that was released as part of the holiday collection (not permanent). This shade is certainly not my favourite shade of all time. It also has little chunky bits in it which I don’t really like in a lip product.

Holiday 2016 Edition Gloss in ‘Naughty’

The Holiday 2016 Gloss in Naughty is a bright red shade that Kylie released as part of the Holiday 2016 collection (not permanent). This gloss is super pigmented and goes on better than her permanent shades.

The Naughty Gloss contains 2.60 ml (0.09 fluid) ounces of product, which is a full sized gloss.

Mini Matte Liquid Lipstick Set

The Mini Matte Liquid Lipstick Set that comes with the Merry Bundle contains 6 Kylie Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick’s. These mini liquid lipstick’s contain 0.65 ml (0.02 fluid ounces) of product which is significantly less than the full sized ones.

The mini lipstick’s are not my favorite because of their size, and the small size of the applicator. Kylie’s matte lipstick formula dries so quickly and when your right in the middle of evening out the product, it goes dry. This is like the equivalent of applying paint over sandpaper, it just goes way to dry to quick. Obviously because the applicator is so much smaller, less product is dispersed and you have to keep dipping in, which makes it difficult because you really do have to work quickly. This makes the shades go SO streaky. This is a problem with some of Kylie’s normal sized shades (usually the dark ones), but I feel like the sneakiness is even worse with the mini’s because of this. I do like the mini’s in terms of getting a smaller sized product to see if you like a certain shade, but they are certainly not my favourite thing because they are just too hard to work with.

Angel

Angel is a muted pink nude shade that Kylie released for the holidays (not permanent). I really like this shade, it’s a nice nude.

Vixen

Vixen is a dark black purple shade that Kylie released for the holidays (not permanent). This shade is so streaky it’s not even funny. It took me SO LONG and multiple attempts to even get a half appealing lip swatch. I like the shade but the formula is absolutely horrible and it isn’t too appealing on.

Kristen

Kristen is a nice muted red shade that is part of Kylie’s permanent Lip Kit collection. Kristen is such a beautiful shade that is one of my favorites out of the collection.

Ginger

Ginger is a red nude shade that is part of Kylie’s permanent lip kit range. This shade applies a bit streakier in the mini liquid lipstick’s than the normal ones. Ginger is one of my favourite nude red shades, it’s beautiful.

Moon

Moon is a grey brown shade that is part of Kylie’s permanent Lip Kit range. I really like this shade, it’s a very nice brown nude shade. Moon applies the least streakiest out of the whole mini liquid lipstick set.

Love Bite

Love Bite is a purple grey shade that is part of Kylie’s permanent Lip Kit collection. This is a beautiful, unique shade. Love Bite does apply streaky in the mini matte sized ones, but is nice in the full sized one.

Kylie Cosmetics Makeup Bag

The Kylie Cosmetics Makeup Bag that comes with the Merry Bundle is a really big, holiday Kylie bag. The zip has a ‘K’ on it and is easy to open and close. The makeup bag is a good edition to the bundle, it’s very pretty and big enough to carry heaps of makeup.

Overall Thoughts/Conclusion on the Merry Bundle

All in all, I really do like the Merry Bundle, but as you read, there are deffo a few hit and misses in here. I love the eyeshadow palette and cream shadow, but some of the liquid lipstick’s let me down, especially the mini set.

For $241.03 AUD ($180.00 USD) , it’s a shame there are so many dud products but in the same token, to get so many Kylie Cosmetics in one bundle is pretty good and expected for that price.
