Today I am going to be talking about and swatching the Forever Matte Liquid Lipsticks by the brand Heidi D!.

Heidi D Forever Liquid Lipstick Description/Review

The Heidi D Forever Liquid Lipstick is a liquid lipstick that currently comes in 12 shades. Each shade contains 6.2 grams (0.22 ounces) of product, has a shelf life of 12 months and is made in China.

The formula of these liquid lipstick’s is nice. It has become one of my favourite formulas. The consistency is pretty thick and is more liquid than creamy (some liquid lipsticks are more runny and liquid like while some are more creamy and moussey). As it dries down, it becomes extremely lightweight on the lips. It doesn't take long for it to dry down- around a minute or two- and it instantly feels very comfortable as it dries down.

The formula is transfer-proof, although some of the darker shades can transfer a little, it's not much. It definitely is not messy. The liquid lipstick's look flattering on the lips. Some liquid lipstick's sink into the cracks in the lips, making it look weird, but the Forever Liquid Lipstick's don't do this and make the lips look full and plump.

The lipstick lasts all day, and because it is so lightweight on the lips when it dries down, it feels comfortable and doesn't end up messy and tacky and flacky. It is a formula that you can wear out all day without worrying about how it looks and if it is going to seperate and go really flacky, like the Kylie Matte Liquid Lipstick's tend to do.

Overall, I really like this liquid lipstick formula. I totally recommend trying one of these babes. Also, I like that Heidi D Cosmetics is an indy brand, it is not extremely main-stream and the products are good. I love finding brands like this that deserve love but as flooded out by the sheer number of brands out there.

Also, the founder of the brand, Heidi D, is a lovely woman who has created the brand on her own, with no help from anyone else. I admire her for this, and the products are really good so she has done an amazing job. I definitely recommend giving the brand a go!

Applicator Quality

The applicator/wand in the Heidi D Forever Liquid Lipsticks is amazing. It works so well with the formula. It is a doe-foot applicator that has one flat end, which makes it soooo easy to fill the lips in precisely (without the need for a liner which is a must for me).

The applicator works perfectly with the formula and I am a fan of these types of applicators because they are not extremely fluffy and are compact. Some applicators, such as the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick's, are too fluffy and make it hard to fill the lips in without making a mess. I am a fan of the applicators.
