ColourPop X Hello Kitty Collection Part 2- Hello Pretty Box Set Description, Review + Swatches

ColourPop Cosmetics and Hello Kitty recently collaborated and released a limited edition collection and today, I am going to be talking about and swatching the ‘Hello Pretty’ box set. I am going to go through the box and what it contains and then talk about and swatch each product individually.

I have wrote a part 1 to the ColourPop X Hello Kitty collection which includes swatches and information about all of the individual lip products that I will link at the end.

ColourPop X Hello Kitty ‘Hello Pretty’ Set Description/Review

The ColourPop X Hello Kitty Set in ‘Hello Pretty’ contains 7 items including;

3 x Super Shock Eyeshadows- Juicy Apple, Sticker Sheet, Bento Box

1 x Super Shock Blush- Fun With Friends

1 x Super Shock Highlighter- Yummy Cookies

1 x Ultra Glossy Lip- KT

1 x Ultra Matte Lip- Ribbon

The box the products come in is nice and sturdy with the Hello Kitty logo all over the front, and it opens up into a nice red compartment with a large mirror. You can deffo keep the box and make use out of it, I really like the box.

Juicy Apple

Juicy Apple is a light gold shade with a ‘Glitter Sheer’ finish. ColourPop describes Juicy Apple as a ‘Soft Gold Topped With Gold Glitter’. As you can see in the swatch below, this shade hardly comes up because it does have a sheer finish. It does have a nice pop of gold glitter though and can be used over the top of other shadows for finishing touches.

Sticker Sheet

Sticker Sheet is a light brown shade with a ‘Satin’ finish. It is very pigmented and goes on easily. ColourPop describes Sticker Sheet as a ‘Cool Toned Taupe with a Satin Finish’.

Bento Box

Bento Box is a grey shade with a ‘Pearlized’ finish. ColourPop describes Bento Box as a ‘True Gunmetal’. It is very pigmented and has tiny little flecks of glitter in it.

Yummy Cookies is a champagne shade with a pearlized (shimmery) finish. ColourPop describes Yummy Cookies as a ‘Light Peach With A Flip of Silver’. This shade comes up pretty light on my pale skin but will come up darker on darker skin.

Yummy Cookies contains 4.2 grams (0.15 ounces) of product which is a full sized highlighter and is made in the USA.

Fun With Friends

Fun With Friends is a pink red shade with a pearlized (shimmery) finish. ColourPop describes Fun With Friends as a ‘Vivacious Mid-Toned Warm Pink’. This shade is really pretty, so pigmented and gives a nice flash of colour.

Fun With Friends contains 4.2 grams (0.15 ounces) of product which is a full sized blush and is made in the USA.

KT

KT is a sheer sparkly pale nude shade. ColourPop describes KT as a ‘Light Gold Sprinkled with Pink and Gold Glitter’. This shade is pretty but it’s not one of my favorites because it is so light, not pigmented and has little glitter flecks in it which sit on the lips and can look bad at times. I will say, this shade is pretty but I wouldn’t wear it everyday and I don’t like the glitter bits in it because it looks messy.

KT contains 2.41 grams (0.09 ounces) of product which is a full sized gloss and is made in the USA.

1 x Ultra Matte Lip

Ribbon

Ribbon is a beautiful typical red matte shade. ColourPop describes Ribbon as a ‘Rich Blue Red’. This shade is super pigmented, not streaky and glides on nice. I really like Ribbon and it is one of my favourite product in the box.

Ribbon contains 3.2 grams (0.11 ounces) of product which is a full liquid matte and is made in the USA.

2 x Lip Product Comparisons

Overall Conclusion/Thoughts on Set

Overall, I do like the Hello Pretty Box Set. My favourite products are the Fun With Friends Blush and the Ultra Matte in Ribbon. I also like the Yummy Cookies highlighter. The KT Gloss is pretty but I’m not really much of a gloss girl, especially not really light shades, but I might wear the gloss one-day. My favourite shadow is the gold one even though it doesn’t show up much, the other shades are not my favourite shades.

I like the fact you can get so many ColourPop X Hello Kitty products in one go, so you don’t have to worry about individual items going out of stock and missing out. The Hello Pretty Box Set comes with 7 products, which is pretty good for $56.26 AUD ($42.00 USD)

As I said, I really do like the Hello Pretty Box Set but I probably won’t use half of the products, which is totally just a personal preference and doesn’t mean the products are bad, just that some shades are not my style
