ABH Matte Traditional Lipstick Product Description + Review
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipsticks are traditional stick lipsticks that come in multiple shades. Each shade contains 3.5 grams (0.12 ounces) of product, has a shelf life of 12 months and is made in the USA.

As the name suggests, they all have a matte finish, but I found that they were slightly creamy mattes. I also found that some shades were slightly more creamy than others and other shades were slightly more matte than others. Despite this slight inconsistency, the formula of all the lipsticks is pretty consistent.

In regards to application, the lipsticks do have a bit of resistance when applying them. I would say this resistance is in the medium range, especially when compared to high resistance traditional lipsticks like the Jeffree Star Lip Ammunition Lipsticks.
Just make sure you don’t wind the lipstick right up all the way, and the lipstick won’t snap. I did find that they are a little harder to apply to the centre and middle of the lips, but this is just because it’s slightly wet there, and if you keep applying you can fill it all in with no problem.
I also found that while these do apply nicely without lip liner with a bit of work, it is way easier and quicker to line the lips first, and then fill them in although this is not necessary. In regards to pigmentation, they are fully opaque, not transparent and have high colour pay-off.
The lipstick’s are not transfer proof and do tend to go everywhere- all over hands, etc- but that’s normal for traditional lipsticks. I found that they were extremely comfortable on the lips, and they start of creamy and wet, but do dry down some more after about 20 minutes.
All in all, I really do like the ABH Matte Lipstick’s, although they are not unique, it is deffo worth picking up a few shades if you like traditional lipsticks!!
